While simultaneously training managers and raising a kindergartner, I realized my job at work was very similar to my job at home. We are, at heart, human beings who, no matter how hard we try, can’t escape our humanity. In truth, our personalities don’t change much from the time we arrive at kindergarten with little our lunch pails, to the time we arrive at our first jobs with our little brown paper bags.
The book addresses many aspects of basic management, such as how to interact with the four major personality types, how to better communicate, how to build and keep a team functioning, along with how to discipline, motivate, and inspire.
Everything I Learned About Management I Learned From Having A Kindergartner is an informative, funny, and poignant book managing human beings to their full potential.
